When playing "test twist" and setting a new high score, the old high score doesn't change! Why?

Why isn't old high score increased when new high score is set when playing text twist?When playing "test twist" and setting a new high score, the old high score doesn't change! Why?
Need to log out then in again and the score will change.
I tried to log out then in again and the score still doesn't change. What do you suggest to do now?

yes, my score hasn't changed in months even though I am still playing. Is there a bug in the system?
